During the third quarter of 2024, the top communication apps on the Android platform in Lebanon exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at their metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.

LINE: Calls & Messages saw a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $3.1K at the beginning of July and dropping to around $1.6K by the end of September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 490 mark, with a peak of 543 in mid-July. Active users showed a downward trend, decreasing from about 148K to 131K over the quarter.

Azar: Video Chat & Meet People experienced an upward trajectory in both revenue and downloads. Revenue grew from $168 in early July to a peak of $256 in late September. Downloads peaked at 1.9K in mid-August, before settling around 1.3K to 1.4K towards the end of the quarter. Active users increased to 9.6K in late August, followed by a slight decrease to 8.4K by the end of September.

Telegram showed a significant increase in revenue, climbing from $54 in early July to $203 at the end of September. Truecaller: AI Call Blocker experienced fluctuations in revenue, starting at $65 and reaching a peak of $107 in late August. Downloads varied significantly, peaking at over 7.6K in early September before tapering off. Active users remained strong, consistently around the 520K to 530K range.
